Made using traditional Japanese hollowing technique. This faceted Kurinuki vase is handcarved from a single block of clay.  Footring detail and makers mark on the base. Finished in celadon glaze which highlights the faceted areas.

Handmade in Norfolk, in small batches in my garden studio. Work is bisque and then glaze fired to stoneware (1240 degrees C) in an electric kiln - powered by renewables (including solar) .
 
Packaging used is from recycled materials.
